Session Description:
Expert training can be a simple process involving deliberate practice and constant feedback. Building a highly functional clinical team follows the same framework and is achieved with an understanding of how experts develop expertise. Setting incremental goals and revisiting foundational skills are important for not only expanding particular skillsets, but also for improving situational awareness and pattern recognition.
Session Objectives:
To give an overview of how to build an expert team using deliberate practice, feedback, adaptability, repetition and reinforcement.
