Session Description:
With the high success of dental implant integration, the clinician is faced with choosing the appropriate method of restoring missing teeth and in some situations deciding to remove teeth in favor of placing an implant to support a reconstruction. When is it appropriate to remove teeth in favor of implants? What prognostic factors can we use to make these decisions? How will a proper diagnosis help in making this choice? Factors clarifying these decisions together with patient presentations will illustrate the effective use of implants to provide stable and lasting restorations.
